Figures Clinic and Test Session

Alpine Skating Club hosted a very successful figures clinic yesterday with 17 skaters. Alpine’s own Jill Ahlbrecht, National and World Figure Champion, was joined by Teri Hooper from Aspen, triple gold medalist, and Tamie Campbell from Minnesota, triple gold medalist, figure champion, and Olympic Judge, to coach the clinic. The clinic was free of charge to our Alpine SC members and included lunch and snacks. At the end of the clinic 14 of the skaters tested their first figures test (also at no cost to our members) and all 14 passed.

Alpine has Synchro Skating Teams

Synchronized skating is the best team sport around!

lpine’s very own Sparks Synchronized Skating program is holding synchronized skating clinics for our preliminary team skaters and all skaters interested in participating/learning about synchronized skating. 
Join our first session on Tuesday, July 6, 5:45-6:45 pm 

We plan to host four sessions over the summer. Attend as many as you want! The coaches will be there to answer questions about the upcoming synchro season starting in August and will be teaching a range of skills.

Each session is one hour and has a $25 fee to attend. Invite your friends! The more, the merrier!


Level to participate: Skaters should be in the Freeskate levels of Learn to Skate, working on their pre-preliminary moves in the field test, or have passed the pre-preliminary moves test. If you have questions about your skater’s level, please contact sparkssynchro@gmail.com.

  3. Monday, August 2, 5:15-6:15 pm
