Lucie Reizian plans to use her scholarship to pay for lessons and ice time to help advance her skating.
Lucie has been skating for 7 years, starting when she was 5 years old. She is proud of placing 2nd in her qualifying round at Southwest Regional, then 9th in the championship round, skating at the Juvenile level. Lucie says she is fortunate to be in a good program in her middle school with caring and supportive teachers. She enjoyed her Spanish class the most this year. She has volunteered at Funtastics for the last 2 years, as a runner and in the Accounting Room. She has also enjoyed participating in ASC-sponsored events like the IJS scoring seminar and skating with National Competitors. Lucie has recently expanded her off ice training to include kick-boxing! In her spare time she enjoys archery, reading, playing board games and exploring all different types of ethnic food. Past Skater of the Month recipients include:
