Funtastics: Funtastics will be on Saturday, April 23rd and possibly extended through Sunday, April 24th. Practice ice will most likely be starting on Friday night, April 22nd. Please plan to support Alpine by volunteering to help with this event! We desperately need all hands on deck this year. Funtastics will be your primary opportunity to “give back” to Alpine so we can continue to provide funding, encouragement and training to ALL our members!

• Competition Entries: We hope to have the Funtastics announcement available early next week.  This year, we are officially part of the Excel Series. The Excel Series events will be offered through EMS (the US Figure Skating event registration program). Registration for all other events will be offered through EntryEeze. Directions for registering for all events are in the announcement — including directions for skaters participating in events that are part of both entry systems. Please read the announcement carefully. 
• Funding: Those skaters who are full members, joined before July 1st, and haven’t already used their competitors’ funding, please let Kim Lamb know at least 2 weeks before close of entries if you want to use your funding for Funtastics.
• Additional Events Offered: This year, we are also offering a figure event and a fun ice dance event in memory of Arlene Sibrell. You’ll find information for these events in the announcement as well.
